Tracking student attendance goes beyond marking who came. In Mesana, each attendance, absence or make-up class is part of the student’s count: you know which classes they have used and which are left.

Track student attendance without rebuilding the count
Enrol a student in a course cycle and their place is reserved in every future lesson in that cycle. When the class starts, mark who came. Absences, make-up classes and remaining classes recalculate from that record.
An absence follows your studio’s rules
By default, an absence uses a class. If your studio has a different rule, you can configure it. The balance follows that decision; you do not need a separate spreadsheet to remember what each student is owed.
Students can check their count too
In their area, students see upcoming classes, dated attendance and absence history, remaining classes and make-ups. You work from the same count that answers “how many classes do I have left?”.

Does an absence use a class?
Yes, by default. You can configure whether absences use a class according to your studio’s rules.
Do I have to book each lesson in the cycle for the student?
No. Enrolment reserves their place in every future lesson in the cycle. You then mark attendance at each session.
